From Perry D. Frazer "Canoe Cruising and Camping", 1897. A great little book with lots of photo plates - mostly of open canoes. Not sure if this is one I got through an interlibrary loan or one that Dan Miller sent me many years ago. I've seen it for sale for as little as US$50.00 on the Advanced Book Exchange. Though the text does not say, I infer that this is the "Bee", designed and sailed by Paul Butler and built by W. F. Stevens. "Bee" now resides at the Mystic Seaport Museum, Mystic, Connecticut.
