I owned GBR240 for a while, she was originally built by Andrew Eastwood while he was sailing at Loch Lomond, cedar strip with a glass scrim. Her name was Pau Amma III (I think...) When I got her she had a wood fore deck and was a bit heavy. I took off the fore deck and the internals came out, replacing it with nomex cored carbon. The hull shape was based on the prahana hulls but with a fuller bow, so she has less rocker than Rob Michael's boats. I messed around with her and then built Monkey, my first new rules boat and most of the bits got transferred to that so I gave the hull away. Good to see she is still sailing.

Sorry Steve but there is a mistake in the boat list, it is GBR 240 and not 241 for the IC.

Actually i think there is only 3 boats witch are sailing regularly in France, located at Le Havre, La Baule, and me near Les sables d'olonnes. May be 4 with the 240 at Carnac after some work. We are very far ones to the others.....But it should be great to sail together. The best way to this is to organize an event in Carnac for the europeen's fleet .....or a holiday meeting in Sanguinet as you posted in an old subject....

The other boats (old ICs) are unknowed actualy exept one at Loctudy (Razorbak IC) witch is on the market ( but very expensive....) another one at La rochelle (Old wood IC) and a last one (old wood ic) in paris (on the market to...1000 €)

For the FRA numbers, I think the last registered is the FRA 30, could somebody confirm ?

Sorry for my poor english....

gilles

Hello Steve

Canoe ownership - been a little greedy last year and now have three!

233 - Carbon Hull, Wood Decks (Composite construction) at Northampton SC (Not Draycote SC). Colour Black Hull, White Decks + Still for Sale

295 - All Carbon, still Orange, and at Northampton SC.

New Rules Boat 337 (Former AUS 31), Still Black - in the garage awaiting my attention to bring it up to specs?

Gilles,

I'm wondering if we should start looking at a European wide boat list including the Germans, French, Swiss and Dutch on the website and also make it European wide rather than just the UK to help promote the smaller fleets.

After all the Ryder Cup has demonstrated strength as a European team  (we'll ignore BREXIT for the time being)

Thoughts?
