Just booked Chequers at Cassington. Rooms still available. Does anyone know if that is likely venue for the Saturday night. Very good turn out last year and excellent meal!

If we're eating there quite happy to co ordinate meal for Saturday. I think it is essential though to get a provisional table booking as they can get busy. If you think venue is good and think you'll be coming let me know numbers by 30 th September and I'll advise Chequers with a +/-
5 margin and meantime run it by them but not until there are some positives from a few attendees. Email me. sales@saltyyachts.com

Initial table booked for 20 but can be increased with reasonable notice. If you book late and miss then sorry.

Chequers Cassignton Menu

3 Courses £22.50 pp

Starters
Home made soup.
Smoked salmon & prawn cocktail, brown bread and seafood sauce.
Port & Stilton mushrooms on a toasted garlic crouton.
Chicken and liver pate, toast,butter and caramelised chutney.

Mains

8oz Rib eye. ( supplement £3), grilled toms,mushrooms, dressed salad,fries and a jug of peppercorn sauce to the side.
Fresh Early morning roadkill ( varies) £5 supplement, Magic mushrooms and steamed poison ivy. ( special request only)
Fillet of Salmon Hollandaise ,new potatoes and fresh vegetables.
Home made fresh lasagne with dressed salad and garlic bread.
Confit of Belly Pork, creamy cider,smoky bacon and mushroom sauce, caramelised onion mash and fresh vegetables.
Goats Cheese and sun dried tomato tatin with a warm tomato and basil coulis,dressed salad and garlic bread.
Chicken and bacon salad,Caesar dressing and garlic bread.

Puddings

Gooey chocolate pudding ,Belgian chocolate and vanilla ice cream.
Cinnamon caramel apple crumble and Devon custard.
Homemade cheesecake of the day with fruit coulis and cream.
Strawberry sundae ,strawberries, whipped cream and chocolate flake.
