copies of PMs sent from the forum remain in your Outbox until they are read by the person you sent it to. Once it is read the message will be found in your Sent Box.

Your message has been sent and when the person you sent it to logs in they will see a notification. If they have checked the box to receive email notifcation of PMs in their profile they will also get an email.
