The International Canoe

I have an old IC which was converted to a daggerboard some years ago. Capsized at the weekend but hadn't tied the daggerboard on, it came out and is now lost at sea.

So to cut a long story short, I'm after a replacement daggerboard, anything considered aslong as it doesn't require too much work. Being a student I'm on quite a tight budget so I think anything carbon is out of my price range. Thanks.

It may not be as simple as that: daggerboards are not very often interchangeable, depending on quite how the daggerboard case is constructed - a photo would help. Sometimes its just easier to build a new one. It need not be that expensive, although it is a good bit of work.

Sorry, forgot about that part. It's got a cassette style thing like the newer ones.
I can make a new cassette, but a new daggerboard is out of my abilities

I have an old daggerboard & cassette, probably 2 generations design old, but might work. Where are you based?
