Should all be finished by the Dinghy show and ready to go the another class newbie.

I've had the crew deck off, converted it (properly) to a daggerboard (completely removed the old case and put a carbon spine in), new kingpost (I couldn't believe that there wasn't one there before), carbon-sheathed dancefloor, oh yes, and ground all the heavy gelcoat off the hull.

So she's lost about 15Kg and looks like comeing-in about on-weight, and should be even stiffer and quicker than before, so will make a cracking 1st IC for someone.

You'll have to watch your back Colin

...and I'm painting it bright yellow

How did you go about removing the gel-coat? I was thinking that longboarding by hand for my old boat would be best.
