The International Canoe

Worlds reports in various lengths and formats have gone to Yachts and Yachting, the Daily Sail, Scuttlebutt Europe and Scuttlebutt USA. Where else do I need to send stuff? If any of you have local magazines you'd like my test for them please send me contact details or just ask me for the text...

It occurs to me that there would be considerable mileage in creating a further piece that would be a technical review of the boats at the event - the top ten at least. Chris has some good photos on Facebook, and goodness knows its about as sparkling an array of what the Sailing Anarchy crowd would call boat porn as could be managed. I'd need boat owners and designers to write some material about their boats for me though, maybe starting wth threee questions:
what were your design aims
what worked
what didn't

Are people up for doing this? Unfortunately not being able to get there I can't write enough myself...

I have a load of pictures of canoes and gear taken at the worlds. I need to put them onto disc and forward to Steve.
I also have a list of the canoe weights taken during measuring and a chart showing who is using what type of equipment. I'll get this done in the next few days if the is some interest.

I now have a fistful of disks with images from Dave T and will load them up and place them on the gallery.

I've started to load up some of the images for the worlds but it will take a while as they all need resizing and loading.
