Hi,
From posts on facebook we have one very active IC in Canberra and some activity gaining momentum in Adelaide... Not much activity elsewhere but definite interest from others (including me)
I haven't sailed (anything) since the 2014 Worlds breaking my wrist during the Worlds (not realising until I got home it was really that bad) slowed my down for a while. Then struggling to find a spare 5 minutes to put Acrobat back together meant I just haven't had the chance to go for a float at a moments notice.
Kylie is telling me to "Go sailing" regularly and the kids are saying similar so I think its about time I listened....
I need to get Acrobat back on the water and work out where I'll sail from is anyone planning on going to any regattas in 2016?
Cheers
Hayden

Yes Hayden,

Very active, most Saturday's and Tuesdays unless work gets in the way, Aus 7 and I are finally starting to find the groove. Still have a long way to go though. As for regattas, I will be at Jindabyne 5-7 Mar, and then Lake Walagoot the following weekend, that may be a little far for you. I miss the Batemans bay regatta due to a work trip, but then I am planning to go to the pacific championships with the other canoeists in the San Juans in May, apart from that I am open to suggestions. I haven't seen Jim to much this year, I thing he is distracted by family and cycling

Have been getting AUS33 out at least twice a month up here in Yeppoon. Some days has been a simple sail down to the other yacht club for a beer and others a sold 3 or 4 hours of racing against sharpies and arrow cats.
Once it gets over 20 and the tide is not favourable the contender comes out to be bashed up in the surf, under 5 I just refuse to leave the bar.
