Regrettably, due to ill health I will no longer be traveling to Oxford.
No issues with Saturday evening as I haven't booked in.
Enjoy yourselves and have a swim for me.

best regards,
Scott, AC GBR299.

Hi Steve,

Unable to make the Sat evening meal now due to a massive change in my start time at work on Sunday morning

Post worlds hangover? as only 12 arrived, 2 with new mounts (Mike with Noahs Ark, and Hugh with Sideshow Bob (Maas SST), both having only sailing them once prior. Hugh looked at the wind and decided it was time to pack up and fight another day (It was quite blowy!)
A day of Non starters, retirements, an AC with the kite stuck up last seen heading rapidly towards the clubhouse and some very tired bodies! Chris in Monkeys Uncle seems to have hit the M3 sweet spot as he was flying (non technical view from the rear of the conga!) As soon as the strongest winds had abated Mike was duking it out at the front for the final 2 races.
Overall for me, an excellent end to the season (flat water with a bit of wind!) now to try and locate the pesky leak I have had for the whole year or just buy a bigger sponge!
Hopefully next years calendar will be confirmed soon as i need 6mths notice in order to be able to get the time off work. Memory to keep for the winter.....I beat Simon Allen to the first windward mark in one race!!!!!!!!!!!!! (finally progress is being made)

IC..1st Chris 2nd Phil / AC..1st Andy / Classic/Slurp...1st Simon A 2nd me (not sure if elapsed times were taken for an overall to be worked out)

A big thank you to both Leslie and Simon for running the event, any pics / vid available from any of the days as I did notice what looked like a Go-Pro on the committee boat?

Oh well done!

Not of course that it has ever happened to me, but I have found that such moments are normally celebrated with a quick swim. :-)
