It was great to see so many IC/AC sailors at the Dinghy Show this weekend, present and former IC sailors and a raft of those who haven't really seen the boats up close before. All were most enthusiastic about the developments in the class and witness the first public outing of the new Morrison3 design.

The M3 had a very good response with interest from all sorts of people who were keen to see and talk about the latest advances in the class, One order committed and several others have asked for quotations and follow up enquiries. This is virtually unheard of at this show but with a much more central location there was a definite buzz around the stand which was very encouraging for all involved.

A big thanks to Andy Biden who has run the show for many years and puts a lot of time into preparing the stand, administration and being there for three days organising. Also a big thanks for the three guys who were present for the two days Chris, Perham and Rob and for Alan on the Saturday.

It was a good advertisement for the class and hopefully raised the interest level so people will be more aware of us and show that we are moving on at great pace both technically and on the water. It was a great way to show the class off as the Formula 1 of single handed sailing without having to take to the air, which seems to be the trend on every other new development.

Overall the show is a great place to talk, share experiences, enthuse and encourage people to get out in their boats and go sailing......

Launch of the M3 will be next weekend if the weather is kind.

Nice one Steve, Andy and all involved.
The M3 looked great and real enthusiasm on the stand.
All the best for the launch and look forward to see you in action at Mengeham Rythe.

Mike,

Thanks for that.

Forecast looks a bit grim for the weekend, we're going for Thursday instead at the moment at Llandegfedd. We hope to test against the M2 and will release pictures of her in action later this week.

Dave and Chris have their boats now so lets hope they can quickly get them sorted out and have a threesome at Mengeham. Rob needs to find time to get his boat finished as well and he's starting another one in April for order received this morning........

There is potential a build slot available for one to be made ready for the Worlds so if anyone out there wants this they better call us quick. New pricelist and leaflet showing all the options available will be posted on the C12 website shortly.
