Many thanks to Simon and the Oxford team for a great couple of days with both the training session and the race day. And an excellent turnout

A little remiss of me but a belated thanks to Simon & Co for organising the highly successful training day again. I should have mentioned this on behalf of everyone who attended in my few words following the prize giving.Quite honestly, shot to pieces after the racing so apologies to all concerned!

Hi All

Friday the 6th to Saturday 7th October 2017 is currently available in the Oxford Sailing Club diary.

If you are interested in running a similar event next year, please let me know by the end of this week and I will put a proposal to the Oxford Sailing Committee.

Happy sailing

NB. I will post the videos from this years training soon as I can remove the background sound from the footage.

Thank You Simon for a brilliant time at Oxford SC. For once it was not brass-monkies conditions and the flat water allowed me to focus on boat handling issues. I look forward greatly to seeing the footage,no sound is fine by me! And a resounding Yes Please for next year.

A big thank you to all for the welcome into such a friendly fleet and for the advise into my first forays of canoe sailing. A really enjoyable Saturday despite the bruises, broken bits and a rather close encounter with one of the towers.
I'll definitely be back next year just got to decide whether its AC, DC or Slurp.

Thank you Simon and Team for a great couple of days. So the training at Oxford sailing club on Friday and Saturday has paid off. In truth I had moments of brilliance during the weekend followed by moments where I was a danger to shipping. However, today in 12 (ish) knots of wind, I won my first race at Castle cove in Monkey. Followed by a second in the second race. Feeling pretty pleased with the boat. Nice one Monkey !
