Ullswater open

Hi all. Hope to make this one. what's the form etc, is camping/sleeping in car possible on site or cheap nearby?

Camping on site is fine, small token charge to club upon entry.
Good facilities on site at club, some of us will be there Friday pm to off load boats.

Hi all,
Entry forms and NOR can be downloaded from the ullswater yacht club web site, race one saturday 13.00
camping on site. Campervans can also stay on site.
I won't be there until satuday morning so we will take entries at about 11 am saturday.
We are sharing the event with the tempests but I dont think they will get in the way much.
As for UYC boats Lester is back and Going well, Callum has a new boat, newer than mine anyway. I have been out twice so far.
Colin Brown is reconfiguring his boat again and its about ready to paint.

Remember its the 50th running of the Birkett this year, got to be worth a trip, totally mad but totally winnerble in a canoe

Good luck with the open - I hope the weather behaves itself. It's my daughter's wedding day on Saturday so I can't be with you all. Hopefully see you during the season.

All,

I have been searching the Ullswater web site for the 300 or so photos that were taken at the recent open but no success.

I spoke to the chap who was taking them over the weekend, he promised to load them up, perhaps John could shed some light?

The plan was for Christian (who took the pictures) to send a disk to Dave T and he was to give it to me so i can upload them onto the UK IC website. Any news Dave?
