Re: Worlds

I know Tony has been busy a lot of preparation for the regatta including finding me a Nethercot to sail, still keen to sail an AC if one was available. How does one get in contact with Rob Stebbing who seems to have a fleet of his own? Thou possibly too late now to organise logistics.

Re: Worlds

Are the AC's doing a windward leeward course or the same Olympic course format as the rest of the fleet?

Charter boat required for worlds

Hi All, Am looking for an IC or AC to charter for the worlds at Pwllheli. Anybody with 2 or more boats or unable to attend and wanting to see her getting wet it would be much appreciated. Willing and able to do some boat work or re-rigging to ensure she returns in better nick than before the adventu...

Re: XX IC World Championships - media coverage

Had a quick chat with Dougal (David) Henshall who will be our guy from Y&Y, partial to a pint and is a good guy to boot.

Re: Australia Team to 2017 Worlds

Thanks Alistair,
Just to keep it interesting if a new rules boat could not be found an AC in reasonable condition or Nethercott would do the trick.
If it a case where a boat needed to be (re)assembled, would be happy to spend a couple of days putting a boat together.

Re: Australia Team to 2017 Worlds

I am also more than keen, just doing the budget to make the trip viable. From here I can not see how we will all be able to get our IC's together to put them into a container (I am 2150km North of Hayden while Stefan is 3500km to the West). I would be keen to charter a boat, main concern for me is t...

Re: 2016 IC sailing

Have been getting AUS33 out at least twice a month up here in Yeppoon. Some days has been a simple sail down to the other yacht club for a beer and others a sold 3 or 4 hours of racing against sharpies and arrow cats. Once it gets over 20 and the tide is not favourable the contender comes out to be ...

Re: XX World Championship 2017

Is it too early to enquire about charter boat options for those looking into traveling from way down south?

Re: Pyrahna I.C.

238 which was another MK2 Piranha ended up in my driveway for a short stay. Unfortunately the foam used was not closed cell and the whole hull was waterlogged. What started as a fair and tardy up job ended with the boat in many pieces and taken to the land fill. If the boat is ridiculously heavy (bu...

Re: 2014 AUS Canoe Action.

I am slowly getting everything together with MCR, hope to be on the water by the end of October. Plan is to travel around after getting some time on the boat close to home and figuring out 1. how not to look like a jackass and 2. make sure everything is strong enough
