Re: Machete ( aka Crazy Ivan) hull shape.

Lots of talk in Australia now the worlds are fast approaching, lots from outside the class too, which is good. I've been telling the outsiders that there's a limited number of hulls in Oz and the available ones will get grabbed quick. I've pointed a few at the Machete and a few have asked me for the...

:D
Yes, the videos I've seen of myself sailing look like those ones of "What you think you dance like and what you actually do".

Re: Richmond YC XIX World Championships 2014 USA

Hi Del I loved the promo video but haven't watch all of this one yet. I do have a question though. I don't have a Go-pro but it seems to me from watching this one and others that to see if it's working you look into the lens. Is there a little light inside if it's recording? :D (Sorry, just kidding,...

Re: Imagine my surprise... An IC in my work carpark...

Congratulation Stefan Are you coming back to Canberra for a while or just visiting? There's an IC in Canberra, maybe 2 if Chris still has his. One near Bowral and me and two others in Sydney. Frank is just down the way in Melbourne and I know there's still a couple lurking around Albury. There's bee...

Re: Richmond YC XIX World Championships 2014 USA

Unfortunately (in an IC sense) I'll be in Nevada for a Human Powered Bike competition, and as it's this project that will be funding my visit, I guess I'd better go. I haven't seen their dates for 2014 yet but going by the last few years it's the same week as the worlds. Finger crossed it will chang...

Oh my god, I'm thinking about the worlds again

Please, I need serious help
It seems like there's a slim chance that I'll be in the Western US in September next year and I think I've had a rush of blood to the head or something but I'm thinking IC WORLDS. Please, someone help me get rid of this thought, (or talk me into it)!

Re: Richmond YC XIX World Championships 2014 USA

Hi Del

Will you be running a North American's or something before hand. I've had a quick chat with Chris Mass about the worlds as it looks like I might be in the area around that time but so far it looks like I'll be in Nevada the same time as the worlds. Maybe I can drop by before hand?

Um, has anyone looked at the US site recently?

I don't really think it's portraying our class very well, unless you're into off the shoulder numbers. :D

Hey Hayden, I meant to ask. How cold's the water in Lake Hume? I'm a bit of a wuss these days.

Less than a month to go 'till the nats. What are you doing

OK, it's less than a month to go for the aussie nationals so it's about time for everybody to start the modifications. I have only sailed the IC twice since Canberra. Since then I've done a major re-build to the steering system and ripped it out again. I've fitted a new centerboard and ripped it out...

Re: Suggestions for NSW regattas/ sailing days

Sorry to say but I'm not having much luck finding a regatta for us to do. Best so far is the Peter Loft Marathon from my old club at Bayview on the 6th May, http://www.byra.org.au/events/peter_loft.php. It's an end of season race down Pittwater, about a mile of open estuary crossing round Lion Islan...

Photo gallery from the US site

Hi all

I'm doing a bit of espionage here. Is the old gallery from the US website available anywhere? I'm looking for various shots of IC's sailing upwind (I'm trying to do a bit of rig development).

Thanks
