Re: International Canoe World Championship 2011 Travemünde / GER

I think we all regret, that Hayden Christian and our other Australian based friends miss the Championsship in Germany. But we also should appreciate that Stuart can race for his home country, because it makes the difference of having a World Championship for everybody who participates. Regarding the...

Here: http://www.ksgh.de/tikiwiki/tiki-download_file.php?fileId=59 are the overall times of the IC Cup race at Steinhuder Meer end of august. The ICs have the yardstick number 98 in Germany. It has been a relative constant between 9-15 kts and flat water (and sunny :) ) kind of ideal conditions for ...

Re: Europa Cup 2010 Travemuende

I am looking at entering the euros with my ICOD, As yet I can not see any IC's yet alone ICOD's being listed as being entered. I hope this is due to the website not being updated. So any indication as how many IC's will be there could tip the balance and make my mind up. Chris Hampe IC GBR 238 Chri...

Re: TinTeardrop .... R I P!

Thanks for the reply Phil, I was hoping that Scarlett was on the market to help build numbers. Good on ya! I might have been tempted had I not already started on the developed ply job - a modified SHC Second String type. I've been keeping a photo record of the build, in case anyone else is tempted,...

Re: You think canoes are crazy? Game over!

And a rowing skiff would never have the stiffness to support the rig tension That's easy enough. All that's needed is for the carbon structure that incorporates the wings and shroud loads to go under the shell's foredeck and pick up the jib and spinnaker tacks. Re: Welcome to European cup

Thanks for the update Kalle. I plan to attend the Euro Cup with my new Design IC (But its not yet definite). Are there any plans how you want to sort the differen IC types ? The Notice of race says trapezoid courses - so i assume there will be only different starts, but all boats on one course ? Rog...

Re: Europa Cup 2009

I understand the Europa Cup will be held at Karlstad SC on Sweden's largest lake Vanern, from 7 to 9 August. Are any ICs built to the new rules from Germany going to make the trip? I assume Roger's new boat built by Steve Clark has now arrived in Europe - are there any others being built in Germany...

Re: Container From USA to Germany

Hi Roger, Nice!

Re: Container From USA to Germany

We have the opportunity to ship ICs from the USA to Germany early in 2009. We plan a 20' container with Roger's GER 78 and Peter's new Chris Maas canoe. There is room for 4 more ICs, so if anyone is interested in acquiring other US boats, this would be a great opportunity to get them across the oce...

Re: Yardstick Numbers for new Design IC

Roger, I am just catching up with the IC Forum! It is good to see you are about to race your new rules IC in Germany. In the UK there are no more new rules ICs on the water than there were at the time of the Worlds (4) but at least one is being built. Are you the only one in Germany so far? ...
